The news that Cai Suping, general manager of Changhe Automobile, switched to BAIC was finally confirmed. In April 28, Cai Suping made his official appearance, and BAIC announced that Cai Suping was the deputy general manager of BAIC and also the senior executive vice president of Beijing Benz-Daimler Chrysler Automobile Company.

According to insiders of BAIC, Cai Suping was previously the general manager of China Aviation Automobile Industry Corporation, enjoying special government allowance from the State Council. From 1998 to 21, he served as the Chinese general manager of Jiangxi Changhe Suzuki Automobile Co., Ltd.

regarding Cai suping's appointment as the deputy general manager of BAIC, relevant persons of BAIC said that after Zhou Rong, the former vice president of BAIC, was appointed as the general counsel of BAIC, the post of deputy general manager of BAIC has been vacant.
