The situation of socialism in Myanmar

The Union of Myanmar is a military junta. After World War II, Myanmar was under the dictatorship of General U Ne Win. The industries include rice milling, lumber, oil mining, small machinery manufacturing, mining and other sectors. Minerals include tin, tungsten, zinc, aluminum, petroleum, corundum and jade, among which rubies and jade are of the highest quality in the world.
